BTC and ATOM Drive CD 21 Leaders Index to New 2019 High of 55.46

The CryptoDaily 21 Leaders Cryptocurrency Index extended recent gains to 55.46 on Sunday from 54.54 on Saturday, a 1.68% increase. The 21 Leaders Index is up 12.58% over the past 7 days and is up 29.67% over the past 30 days. Cosmos (ATOM) led the Index higher with a +4.6% gain to a market capitalisation of US$ 1.3 billion despite news that Telegram’s Open Network (TON) may support 300 million users and compete with Cosmos. Bitcoin (BTC) also contributed with a +4.0% gain while Binance Coin (BNB) led the losers with a decline of 2.4%.

The CryptoDaily Large-Cap Cryptocurrency Index continued its surge higher to 37.40 on Sunday from 36.55 on Saturday, a 2.33% gain. The Large-Cap Index is up +11.81% over the past 7 days and is up +28.92% over the past 30 days. In addition to the 4.6% gain in Cosmos (ATOM) and 4.0% climb in Bitcoin (BTC), Decred (DCR) notched a 6.8% improvement to a market capitalisation of US$ 344.01 million. Ravencoin (RVN) led the losers with a 2.7% loss.

The CryptoDaily Mid-Cap Cryptocurrency Index rallied to 51.47 on Sunday from 50.71 on Saturday, a 1.49% gain. The Mid-Cap Index is up 1.66% over the past 7 days and is up 11.67% over the past 30 days. GXChain (GXC) led the gainers with a +11.3% climb to a market capitalisation of US$ 159.99 million as traders reacted to news that GXChain’s third round of buy-back with USDT 1 million will be completed in two days. DENT (DENT) also added to gains with a +10.5% gain while Waltonchain (WTC) led the losers with a 3.0% pullback.

The CryptoDaily Small-Cap Cryptocurrency Index edged lower at 3.01 on Sunday from 3.02 on Saturday, a 0.33% decline. The Small-Cap Index is off 5.64% over the past 7 days and is up 2.38% over the past 30 days. Populous (PPT) led the climbers with a +6.0% gain to a market capitalisation of US$ 48.3 million. Comet (CMT) also moved higher with a 5.1% gain while Matic Network (MATIC) led the Index lower with a 5.7% fall.
