Tron CEO set to make an exciting announcement today, is it Tron 4.0?

The well-known crypto figure and CEO/founder of the Tron project, Justin Sun took to Twitter at the end of last month to announce that there will be an announcement on the 8th of June (today). Sun has a habit of making pre-announcements but it looks like this news will be announcing a new development in the ecosystem. Justin has been criticised for his way of typing up the community with some people accusing him of doing it in order to pump the price of the TRX token up in the markets.

On the other hand, this could just be seen as a way to build up excitement in the community as a marketing technique. Many known companies use tactics like these in order to hype up their fan base, so it isn’t all that unusual.

Whether Justin does his pre-announcements in order to build up the price of TRX is unknown but since he sent out the tweet, there has been no significant change in the assets price.

We are still waiting on the announcement from the CEO of Tron but some have speculated that it is a project development which is specifically drawn towards the release of Tron 4.0. The CEO has made significant comparisons of Tron 4.0 to its potential counterpart of ETH 2.0, a very anticipated project within the crypto industry.
