Binance, the biggest crypto platform in the world is getting ready to launch a new affiliate program in Africa after the reveal that it is terminating its Uganda-based service.

Earlier this month on the 3rd of November, Binance officially announced the launch of the Binance Africa program, which has the hope to promote the exchange all across the continent. The platform has further said that this new program is open to influencers, enthusiasts in cryptocurrency and creators of content all across Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda and Nigeria.

A spokesperson for the platform has said that the services from the exchange in Africa will include Fiat on-ramp for users in Uganda, Nigeria and South Africa with the exchange also applying to provide peer to peer services for Kenya based users.

It all comes after an announcement from Binance at the end of last month on the 27th October when they said they were shutting down its subsidiary in Uganda. As of the 28th of November, it is expected to be fully terminated with its trading services officially closing down on the 11th a few weeks ago.

Part of the announcement read the following:

Binance Uganda thanks our loyal users for using our services and would strongly encourage everyone to use Binance.com going forward for all their cryptocurrency and trading needs.
