Renowned magicians and hosts of the hit show "Fool Us," Pen Jillette and Raymond Teller bring some of their magic into the crypto world.

Penn and Teller, the magician duo, has teamed up with BullPunk, a global NFT collective and studio, to release their NFTs on digital asset marketplace, OpenSea.

OpenSea tweeted the announcement saying,

"Penn & Teller - the longest-running Las Vegas act in history! - just started the first magician NFT drop."

What Does The NFT Drop Include?

The NFT collection is a celebration of 40 years of the Penn & Teller franchise, the world's most renowned names in magic and entertainment. The Penn & Teller Liftoff for Love NFT Collection comprises three animated NFTs, with 52 editions.

The NFTs are the Teller Ace Card, Penn King Card, and the Penn & Teller Joker card. The genesis set was created as a special collaboration with BullPunk NFTs. OpenSea further adds,

"Each NFT concept was picked for its significance and symbolism to the magical world, as well as references to the crypto community."

This first set of special cards will be a precious addition to a collector. Each card was hand-drawn to incorporate elements of Penn & Teller's iconic franchise and the crypto community. Owning such a collectible, a piece of the Penn & Teller franchise is bound to be a magical experience in itself.

Who Are Penn & Teller?

Penn and Teller are American magicians, entertainers, and scientific skeptics who have been performing together since the '70s. They're notable for their magic and the additional comedy element that has earned them a huge fan following.

The duo is also known for their television shows, such as the Penn & Teller: Fool Us, where aspiring magicians perform their tricks to fool Penn and Teller. If the latter cannot guess how the trick was done, then the aspirant gets to be on Penn and Teller's Las Vegas magic show.

The duo's Las Vegas show at The Rio is the longest-running headliner to play at the same hotel in Las Vegas history. Penn serves as the act's orator, while Teller generally does not speak and instead communicates through non-verbals and mimes. Besides Magic, the duo advocate scientific skepticism and libertarianism through their television show called "Penn & Teller: Bullshit!"

OpenSea Has NFTs For Everybody

OpenSea has plenty to offer for the NFT enthusiast. Along with art, domain names, users can create virtual worlds. Virtual worlds further allow one to create and trade digital assets, play games, and display NFTs in galleries. Trading cards of classic games are available too, some of them with physical cards to back the NFT.

OpenSea also has the world's first NFT author trading card, created in collaboration with Jon Fisher, a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, investor, author, speaker, philanthropist, and inventor. The NFT features text from Jon's University of San Francisco commencement speech, which inspired his upcoming book, I Took the Only Path To See You.
