KuCoin S is currently available for invited users and will soon be integrated with the KuCoin app by the end of the year.
KuCoin, a global exchange with over 8 million users in 207 countries, just launched KuCoin S — an add-on that focuses on increasing social engagement in trading. It aims to revolutionize how traders make decisions from social media news. Traders are exposed to contradicting and misleading crypto news daily. KuCoin S is built to disrupt that by introducing live crypto feeds for users to collectively validate new information by liking, commenting, and sharing.
A copy trading instalment is also a major part of KuCoin S, permitting users to browse and use flourishing trading strategies to increase their return rates or make them more predictable. This gives crypto newcomers more confidence in crypto investing as they can approach the market with no experience and be profitable by copying the right successful strategies. The copy trading initiative is also made to help limit the number of new crypto users that begin their journey with bad trading experiences.
The layout of KuCoin S presents a Gen-Z friendly UI and UX as a simplified approach was taken to create a seamless experience. The visual looks were inspired by “Futurism” as it brings colors and design that aid the communication of a crypto finance community. A design that reinforces complex and technical aesthetics makes it difficult for crypto users to do simple things such as buy crypto. It also creates a barrier for those new to crypto.
The latest crypto trends such as NFTs, meme tokens, and GameFi have built-in social functions and purposes, suggesting that the social aspect is key to seeing the unfolding of the best crypto has to offer. KuCoin’s CEO Johnny Lyu asserts that
“The lack of interactions between users has led to the increasing educational costs and slow pace of popularization of the industry, hence creating obstacles for mass adoption.”
He sees the many intermediaries causing traffic and diversion in crypto. With the improvement of social communications between users, the growth rate of crypto could multiply quicker.
