Virtue Poker, a decentralized platform developed on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain, has announced that it will be conducting a Celebrity Charity Poker tournament that’s scheduled to take place on September 26, 2021.
The tournament participants will include Hall of Fame professional poker player, Phil Ivey, HOF NBA professional basketball player Paul Pierce, YouTube sensation Mr. Beast, TRON blockchain founder and crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun, Hollywood actor and renowned filmmaker Vince Vaughn, Polygon Co-Founder Sandeep Nailwal, and Ethereum Co-Founder Joe Lubin.
Introducing the Binance Mysterybox Collection
In celebration of this event, the Virtue Poker team is introducing a Binance MysteryBox collection, beginning on September 23, 2021 - representing each card in a standard 52 card deck. Collectors holding the winning hand for each knockout during the Celebrity Event will get a chance to claim prizes ranging from $2,500 to a $25,000 reward for the top prize.
Participants are required to buy two mystery boxes to assemble a hand. The participants may then proceed to trade with each other so they can put together the best poker hand via the secondary market.
The Mystery box will include an Ace of Spades that will come with Phil’s virtual signature and will also offer a $5,000 prize.
Prizes
All participants with completed hands are able to compete and have a chance to win:
A prize totaling $2500 will be awarded to players with the winning hand for every knockout. If several different players own the hand, then the $2500 prize money will be divided equally among all contest winners. Notably, the player holding the championship knockout hand will receive a $25,000 prize. If more than 1 lucky player has the championship knockout hand, then just 1 player will be randomly chosen to receive the reward
Participants may collect as many as (50) completed hands (100 boxes). Participants are also required to HOLD onto the winning hand in their Binance account in order to qualify for the rewards. Winning players need to contact [email protected] for confirmation.
Freeroll Tournament
Virtue Poker will also be conducting a freeroll tournament where ALL holders of (2) mystery boxes will get exclusive access to take part in a $10,000 free-roll tournament on the Virtue Poker platform.
Virtue Poker NFT or non-fungible token holders should contact [email protected] with their UID and NFT screenshot in order to get the Virtue Poker referral code.
Final Thoughts
The Virtue Poker team is pleased to be hosting their Celebrity Tournament and aim to provide a unique NFT experience for their viewers that may be tuning in. Through their collaboration with Binance, they intend to keep promoting adoption of the Virtue Poker platform and also that of non-fungible tokens or NFTs.
